Established over 30 years ago, Thomas Hobbs Florist is a prestige flower shop located in the heart of Kerrisdale. We provide our satisfied customers with first class arrangements as well as a delightful experience when they visit our beautiful store.

Our ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in English language an asset.

FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR (full-time) – The Links at Hampton Cove Clubhouse, Ladner, BC
We are looking for reliable, energetic and outgoing front-of-the- house professional to run our Café and supervise a small team of part-time staff. 40 hours a week. Salary + gratuities + Benefits. Minimum 1-year Supervisory Experience.

BARTENDER/SERVER/FOOD PREP (part-time) – The Links at Hampton Cove Clubhouse, Ladner, BC
No experience necessary. We will provide full training. The ideal candidates must be outgoing, upbeat, energetic and friendly. Wages + gratuities.

PROJECT MANAGER (DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION) – Captain’s Cove Marina, Ladner, BC
We are a Land Development Company seeking experienced Project Manager to manage and oversee assigned development projects from application to construction. We are looking for a person with years of experience dealing with City Staff, Engineering Consultants, and Contractors. The candidate must have the ability to negotiate in obtaining approval from various Government Agencies. Graduate degree in a business, civil engineering or planning (example: P. Eng or MCIP) is preferred.
Knowledge in costs of construction an asset. Compensation to be negotiated DOE.

About the Projects:
Captains Cove Marina applied to develop 218 acres of land adjacent to their 350 berth Marina. Approval granted to create 1400 housing units, a small neighbourhood commercial, and a 9-hole executive golf course. Implementation of the approved uses was spread over a number of phases and construction is presently starting on Phases 10 through 12. Reconstruction of the Marina is anticipated over the next 3 years.
Captain’s Cove Marina is also involved in housing and commercial development under our companies Springbank Land Development and Aspen Landing Shopping Centre.
